FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is RiftRec free?

RiftRec's free tier includes local recording, replay, match history and click tracking. Review Pro adds cloud review rooms and additional storage.

How does RiftRec limit recording overhead?

RiftRec can use supported AMD, NVIDIA or Intel hardware encoders and game-window capture. Actual performance depends on your PC, game settings and selected recording settings.

Why does click tracking request administrator access?

The optional click overlay uses operating-system input capture and requests administrator access to record clicks reliably. Recording can be used without enabling click tracking.
