RiftRec 0.1.39: signed application components and installer, manual recording fixes, clearer capture-backend diagnostics, and opt-in hardware/FPS reports. Includes interface and feedback improvements. Users on 0.1.38 can use the in-app updater; 0.1.37 and older require a manual installation because the updater key changed.
Open riftrec.app/download/ on the PC where you play League. Android is for reviewing VODs, not capturing a Windows game. No email address or account is needed to save this link.
Open the .exe, confirm the publisher is Naohezi LLC, and follow the Windows prompts.
Open League, check your recording folder and enabled queues, then make a short test recording. Use the setup guide and check your audio before a full match.
Open Videos and play the saved MP4. Check game sound and microphone playback, then try the one-decision review worksheet. Uploading or sharing is optional.
If SmartScreen asks for confirmation, open More info and verify the publisher is Naohezi LLC. Continue only when the publisher matches; otherwise cancel the installation and contact support.
Recordings are stored locally as MP4 files. Match data used by local review stays with the desktop app. Video leaves your PC only when you choose an upload, Share link or Review feature; uploaded files then use your RiftRec account storage.
Recordings are standard local MP4 files you control. RiftRec does not automate gameplay or modify game files; optional click tracking requests administrator access. Uploading is your choice.
Requirements: Windows 10/11 64-bit · compatible graphics drivers; hardware encoding depends on GPU support.
The installed app payload is approximately 295 MiB. Allow additional free space for the installer, temporary installation files, Windows prerequisites and your recordings. This is not a 295 MiB total free-space requirement. See recording storage estimates.
