How to share League of Legends recordings for review
Updated May 19, 2026
Sharing a VOD is most useful when the other person knows what to look for. Send the recording with context, timestamps, and a clear review goal.
Before sharing
- Pick one completed game, not a whole folder of videos.
- Write the champion, lane/role, matchup, and what you want reviewed.
- Mark one to three timestamps: deaths, objective fights, or lane decisions.
- Make sure the VOD plays correctly before the session starts.
Use a private Review room
With RiftRec Review, you can upload a selected VOD and invite trusted people into a private room. That keeps playback, notes, drawings, voice, and chat in one place.
Friends
Use rooms to review duo fights, objective setup, and communication mistakes.
Teams
Focus on shared moments: rotations, fight setup, vision, and calls.
Coaches
Give enough context so the coach can spend time on decisions instead of setup.
Message template
Example: "Can you review this ADC game? I want feedback on lane deaths and mid-game positioning. Key moments: 8:40 recall, 14:20 dragon fight, 22:10 Baron setup."
