How to share a League VOD with a coach
Updated May 16, 2026
A coach can give better feedback when the VOD comes with context. Prepare the match, explain what you want reviewed, and use timestamps so the session starts fast.
Before you share the VOD
- Pick one match that represents a real recurring problem.
- Write your role, champion, matchup, and what felt difficult.
- Mark two or three moments you want reviewed first.
- Include your goal for the session, such as lane phase, recalls, deaths, or objective setup.
Use a private review room
RiftRec Review lets you upload the completed VOD, invite the coach, and review together with shared playback, voice, chat, drawings, and timestamped notes.
For the player
Keep the review focused on your own decisions and what you can change next game.
For the coach
Use drawings and notes to explain decisions without losing the timestamp.
For follow-up
Keep notes attached to the VOD so the next session can compare progress.
What to avoid
Do not ask for live in-game assistance, gameplay automation, account services, or replacement systems for Riot features. Keep the session focused on completed VOD review and personal improvement.
