RiftRec bundles FFmpeg executable tools for local media processing. This page provides the matching FFmpeg source archive, license text, and build notes for the bundled Windows build.

Bundled build: FFmpeg 8.0.1-essentials_build-www.gyan.dev. This build is treated as GPLv3 because it enables GPL/version3 components. RiftRec invokes FFmpeg as separate executable tools and does not statically link FFmpeg libraries into RiftRec application code.
